Joel Newton, DDS PA
I am a Twin Falls native. I love the mountains, rivers, rain and sun. I have been practicing Periodontics for over 30 years. I have been teaching Periodontics for over 20 years through ISU at the AEGD. I have also taught periodontology since 2010 at CSI to the Dental Hygiene students. I am a proud father of two and grandfather of four more wonderful children. My goals are to provide health to my patients, not to turn healthcare into retail. I promise to treat you with honesty, fairness and professionalism using proven techniques.

Natasha graduated from the College of Southern Idaho with her Dental Assistant Certificate in 2009 and later obtained her dental assisting national recognition from DANB in 2012. She then went on to earn her Associates of Health Science in 2025. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree. Her assisting career began shortly after

Her assisting career began shortly after graduating the assisting program when she began working for Dr. Newton. She has been instrumental in creating an online dental assisting program for CSI’s Workforce Training and also teaches part time in the assisting program at CSI.

Alexandra was born in Nevada but raised in Gooding, Idaho. She graduated from College of Southern Idaho, Dental Assistant Program here in Twin Falls, Idaho. She loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoys a good movie, and going to concerts.

Shayla was born and raised in Idaho. In 1998, she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University. She has been with Dr. Newton for 20 years now. Between Shayla’s infectious laugh, hand skills and love for promoting oral health, her patients always leave their appointments smiling.

She served as the Magic Valley Dental Hygiene Association President from 2008-2015 as well as the Idaho Dental Hygiene Association (IDHA) Presidency from 2010-2013. Megan graduated from the College of Southern Idaho and then went on to complete the dental hygiene program in Denver, Colorado. She served as the Magic Valley Dental Hygiene Association President from 2008-2015 as well as the Idaho Dental Hygiene Association (IDHA) Presidency from 2010-2013. In 2014, she received both her Dental Hygiene Extended Access License and completed her Bachelors of Science at Idaho State University. She has been instrumental in developing public health curriculum geared toward young children and geriatrics. Her work has been published in the Idaho Statesman, the Times News and the IDHA magazine. She has presented her work at the Idaho Oral Health Alliance Summit annual meeting and was awarded the 2015 Distinguished Service Award by the IDHA. Her attention to detail and her desire for the patient’s well-being make her a phenomenal dental hygienist.

Lisa grew up in Jerome, ID. She became a dental assistant in 2014 and worked for 8 years. In 2022 she graduated from The College Of Southern Idaho with her associates degree in Dental Hygiene. Some of her favorite things to do are kayaking the Snake River, going camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kiara was born and raised right here in Southern Idaho. She is a certified dental assistant who received her certification through College of Southern Idaho in 2014 and has been immersed in the dental field since. She loves spending time at home in the company of her little family and her animals. She loves reading, watching movies, and singing all her favorite kind of music.
